Our Spanish restaurant group is seeking experienced Prep Cooks and Line Cooks to join our Kitchen team. We are passionate about sharing our authentic Spanish cuisine with our guests and require a candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment, use all kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients, maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow the chef's recipes, and complete the plating accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients by using all necessary kitchen tools
Follow chef's recipes and instructions to prepare dishes
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner
Plate dishes according to restaurant standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Assist in managing inventory and supplies
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless kitchen operation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook
Familiarity with Spanish cuisine preferred
Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and best practices
Ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Pay Range:
Los Gatos, California ($16 to $16.5 per hour)
Walnut Creek, California ($16 to $16.5 per hour)
Palo Alto, California ($17.80 to $18.25 per hour)
Los Angeles, California ($16.78 to $17.04 per hour)
