Barback

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Bar Back to join our team and assist our bartenders in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar by preparing mixers, juices, and cocktail garnishes, restocking supplies, and maitaining cleanliness in the bar area. The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of bar menu iems and recipes, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and posses a strong team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in opening and closing the bar

• Prepare mixers, juicers, and cocktail garnishes

• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, spirits, garnishes, ice, and other products throughout the shift

• Ensure bartending tools such as glasses, stirrers, shakers, strainers, and others are clean and in the proper position for bartenders

• Adhere to California health code regulations, ensuring proper labeling and maintenance of products at the correct temperature

• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area

• Assist with any other bar duties as required

  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum age to serve alcohol as per legal requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong team spirit and willingness to collaborate with the bar staff

• Basic knowledge of bar menu items and recipes, including different types of beers and mixed drinks

• Physical ability to lift beer kegs, hold trays of bottles and glassware, and stand during the shift

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
